40 km of slopes and 24 varied runs
Voss Resort offers 40 km of groomed alpine slopes and 24 runs — from family-friendly pistes to an international giant slalom and a SuperG. The downhill run is one of the longest in Norway at 3,600 m with nearly 900 m vertical drop, and the family run stretches a full 4,200 m. The off-piste terrain around the resort is world-class for those who want to go beyond the groomers.
10 lifts and one of Europe's best night-skiing setups
With 10 lifts and tows, you spend more time skiing and less time queuing. The gondola opens every day at 9:00 AM and is included in all lift tickets. In the evening, 11 km of slopes are floodlit — including the terrain park — three nights a week. Separate evening passes are available.
Cross-country, ski touring and terrain park
18 km of groomed cross-country trails wind through gently rolling, family-friendly terrain at Hangurstoppen. For those who want to climb higher, you can ski tour from the resort up to Lønahorgi (1,410 m) — Voss Resort has its own randonée route built together with VossaRando. The terrain park is shaped by ShapeCrew with international park expertise, with jumps, rails and jibs for every level.
Ski school and rentals
Certified instructors help beginners and experienced skiers alike — from the first turn to fine-tuning your technique on the giant slalom. The resort has ski rentals, service, ski lockers for daily and long-term rental, and two welcome centres — at the gondola in the town centre and at Bavallen.
Restaurants on the mountain
Food is part of the ski day, not a break from it. On the mountain you'll find Hangurstoppen Restaurant (panoramic views, open year-round), Gamle Hangur (authentic Greek flavours from Taste of Greece), Storastovo (grill classics) and Varmestova (cocoa, coffee and simple bites — also open during night skiing).
Location — straight from train to mountain
Voss Resort is connected to Voss town centre, just 100 km from Bergen. The gondola's unique location at the train station means you can step off the train and be on Hangurstoppen in under 10 minutes. Our cabin in Tråstølen is ski-in / ski-out — clip in right outside the door.
