How to get to Voss

Voss sits on the Bergen Railway, and the train from Bergen takes around 1 hour 15 minutes. From Oslo, the Bergen Railway takes about 5.5 hours. By car it's roughly 100 kilometres from Bergen along the E16. The nearest airport is Bergen Airport Flesland, with onward travel by train or rental car to Voss. Locally, the village is easy to walk around, and the Voss Gondola sits practically next to the train station.

Food, drink and nightlife in Voss

Voss has a solid selection of cafés, restaurants and bars for a village of its size. You'll find everything from modern kitchens and pizzerias to traditional Norwegian cooking with local ingredients.
