The course
Voss Golf is a 9-hole course set idyllically by Lake Lønavatnet, with the 1,410 m peak Lønahorgi as a backdrop. The course was designed by Jeremy Turner and opened in August 2005. It's easy to walk with short distances between holes, and suits both beginners and experienced players. The first tee is set away from the clubhouse so you can start your round without much of an audience.
Clubhouse and facilities
The clubhouse sits right by the parking lot and houses a café, a golf simulator and a large practice area with driving range, putting green and a 9-hole chipping green. Green fee prices vary by time of day and season — see vossgolf.no for the up-to-date list.
Green fee and booking
The course is open to visiting players. Tee times and daily prices are on vossgolf.no. The club also runs tournaments and beginner courses (VTG — 'Veien Til Golf') through the season.
Our tip
May–September is the main season. The course usually opens in May (volunteer-dependent) and looks its best on clear days when Lønahorgi is in full view. From our cabin in Tråstølen it's a short drive.
